BJJ and No Gi for all levels, with small groups, personalized attention and a community where you can enjoy learning.

Círculo de Jiu Jitsu

At Círculo de Jiu Jitsu, we are a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (BJJ) school in Madrid, specializing in both gi and no-gi/grappling styles. We have been developing our project for five years, backed by nearly 15 years of experience practicing and teaching Jiu-Jitsu. Whether you've never stepped onto a mat before, are looking to refine your technique, or want to compete, you'll find experienced instructors, small groups, and a welcoming environment where you can progress at your own pace.

Quality BJJ, great atmosphere and top-notch facilities

We want you to be able to focus solely on training, learning, and enjoying yourself when you join Círculo de Jiu Jitsu. We've created a carefully designed space where high-quality instruction meets a friendly, respectful, and motivating atmosphere.

We work with small groups and provide personalized attention, allowing our teachers to better understand each student's progress and help them advance. Furthermore, we have a multicultural community and teachers who speak several languages, including Spanish, English, and Portuguese.

Find your program

Start from scratch, practice No Gi, discover BJJ as a family, or take your technique to the next level.

Beginners

You don't need any prior experience, martial arts knowledge, or a specific level of fitness. You'll progressively learn the fundamentals of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu while improving with each training session.

No Gi / Grappling

Discover the gi-free version of Jiu-Jitsu. By eliminating grips on your own clothing, the training becomes faster and more dynamic.

Kids

Children's program for boys and girls aged 3 to 12, focused on learning Jiu Jitsu while developing respect, discipline, camaraderie, confidence and resilience.

Advanced

Continue to refine your technique, work on your own game and, if you wish, prepare to compete with the support of teachers who are also active competitors.

Never practiced Jiu Jitsu? This is also the place for you.

You don't need to be in shape before starting. You'll get in shape through training. We welcome beginner students every week and pay special attention to their integration so they can learn gradually and feel comfortable from the very first classes.

There's no perfect age to start either. We have students of different ages and levels. Our adult program starts at age 14, while younger children have their own Kids program.

And if you're worried about not knowing what to do during your first class, don't worry: we'll move forward with you at your own pace.

Jiu Jitsu with kimono and No Gi in Madrid

At our school you can practice the two main modalities: BJJ with kimono and No Gi / Grappling.

We recommend training in both because each contributes different elements to the practitioner's development. The kimono introduces numerous grips and technical possibilities, while in No Gi we don't have these grips, resulting in a generally faster and more dynamic game.

However, you are not obligated to practice both. If you prefer to focus solely on full-gi BJJ or no-gi BJJ, we will tailor the training to your personal goals.

Jiu Jitsu can offer much more than just technique

Regular training presents both a physical and personal challenge. Over time, Jiu-Jitsu can become a way to stay active and avoid a sedentary lifestyle while developing new skills.

Community

You train alongside people who share the same hobby and progress with you.

A place to train with respect and safety

We want everyone who steps onto our mat to be able to train in a pleasant environment. That's why respect for training partners and instructors, hygiene, and mutual care are integral to our approach to Jiu-Jitsu.

We ask that you keep your nails short, always train in a clean kimono, wear flip-flops outside the tatami, and avoid attending class when you are sick. And there is an even more important rule: never intentionally harm a partner.

We're here to learn together. Take care of your classmates the way you want them to take care of you.
